ASTRONOMY

At first, it's good to know what astronomy is at all. Here is the explanation. Astronomy is a science which pursues to discover and to interpret a nature and a commotion of the space objects. Space objects are, to all of us known, planets, stars, asteroids, comets, meteors, natural satellites and as well galaxies. Word astronomy descends from Greek words astros which means stars and nomos which means law. Therefore we can say that astronomy is a law of stars.

Scientists that engages in astronomy is called astronomer. They explore the objects in space and their ‘behavior’.

Astronomy has a many branches. They deal about different area of astronomy.

Astrobiology is the branch which interpret a possibility of existence of life onto others space objects. That branch explore a places whit these possibilities, too.

Cosmology is the branch which interprets general mechanism of cosmos and his process. That branch is shared at theoretic and at observer cosmology.

Astrometry is based upon the sizes in space and the distances between the space objects.

Galactic and extragalactic astronomy pursues explore galaxies, galactic groups and space among galaxies.

Astronomy of planets is branch which is based only upon the planets and their satellites.

The bases of stellar astronomy are stars, length of their ‘life’ and chemical elements that accrues in star’s core.

Archeoastronomy discovers the history of cosmos, from the Big Bang until today. It explores even other theories about the beginning of cosmos, too.

Astrochemistry is branch which get together everything about chemical processes in space. It explores the chemical reactions in the stars and chemical structure of all space objects.
